On December 10,2024, I had a full knee replacement performed by a very skilled surgeon, Dr. Robert Gorab. I just saw him for my six week appointment. He was very pleased with my progress. I drove myself to his office and was not in pain. He asked about how much I was able to do as he checked my knee for flexibility and strength. He was pleased that I was able to get it fairly straight and flexed and also impressed that I was walking 40 minutes a day. Not too bad for a 79 year old patient! After visiting several orthopedic surgeons to determine who I wanted to do my surgery, I witnessed many pre and post knee surgery patients. I think the reason that I was able to mend so well is that my leg was prepared to face that surgery. I had trained with Rob for a number of years and during that time he constantly had me doing exercises and stretches twice a week that strengthened the muscles around that knee joint. I had even postponed the thought of a knee surgery because of the results that he gave my leg. Had I not had the muscles in my leg strong and healthy due to Robs expertise, I might have resembled many of the agonized patients I saw in those doctors offices. I'm am so thankful that I was physically prepared to have my surgery. Even my physical therapist is amazed at my progress. But that is all the result of having someone like Rob thoughtfully assist in giving my body the tools that it required to heal well. Thank you Rob!!!

FAQ's

Where are we located?

NFT trains out of The Belmont Athletic Club. You do not have to be a member to train with us.

How long is the free evaluation and workout?

Your evaluation and workout are two separate sessions and can each last up to an hour.

What type of sessions do we offer?

Currently, we offer 1-on-1 sessions for clients who want to train privately, and split sessions for clients who want to train with a partner, family member, or friend.
